Aptech has signed an agreement with RLG Communications, Gambia, to train Gambian youth in IT software & hardware. Education is key for growth and development of Gambia, a developing nation in West Africa. Aptech Computer Education, the flagship brand of Aptech and a pioneer in IT software & hardware training, will soon be an integral part of the education system there. Aptech has a proven track record of providing high-quality education to students across 40 other countries.

Papa Yusupha Njie, Executive Director of RLG Communications, emphasized the opportunities the students will receive as part of this program. Upon completion of the first two years of the Aptech Certified Computer Professional (ACCP) course, the students get to do a third year’s training in-person or online with top universities in the UK - including Middlesex, Portsmouth, and Plymouth - among others. This way, students graduate with a degree in software engineering right from their home country. "Indeed it is our time, Africa has risen,” Njie said.
